My husband and I ate at the Bob Evans Restaurant #504 in Hagerstown, MD 21740 on 06/14/2019 @ 1:54 PM
The receipt given us has no customer survey code on it and this was probably intentional because they knew we were not happy with our visit!!
I ordered a grilled turkey sandwich and the bottom slice of grilled bread was so soggy I returned it. Our first cups of coffee were barely warm so we ask for hot coffee.
My husband's hamburger was burnt. All the while we could see the young man cooking the food and he was talking on his cell phone the entire time!! What good does it do to wear plastic gloves when you are handling a filthy cell phone?! Our waitress was not very nice, she was visibly irritated by our constant complaints!
But as a paying customer, I feel we have every right to expect quality.
At the checkout, when my husband voiced our concerns, all the woman kept saying was "I'm sorry", offering no compensation.
I had gone to the ladies room while my husband was paying the bill, and when I came out the reseptionist and our waitress, Lisa, was "badmouthing" my husband!
Needless to say, we will never eat there again! This place has given the "Bob Evans" name a huge black eye!!!

**On the plus side: We normally stop at the Bob Evans Restaurant in Breezewood, PA, but our granddaughter was sleeping and we didnt want to wake her (our first mistake). We knew there was another Bob Evans in Hagerstown, MD, (our second mistake).
*This Bob Evans is AMAZING!!* They go above and beyond to make your visit pleasant!!
We would recommend the Breezewood Restaurant to anyone! Clean, friendly staff, great food, and great customer service!
Maybe the Bob Evans corporate office should put this manager in charge of training!!!!! Just saying
