Why isn't it UNLAWFUL for BOB EVANS to calculate a tip for not only served food, But also for every other purchase LIKE boxed pastries @ check-out, gift cards, gum ?

My b-fast was $8.11

my tip of 20% should have been $1.62

the tax was .48

THIS SHOULD HAVE BEEN $10.21

2 boxes of pastries at the check-out = $8 plus .48tax =$8.48

GRAND TOTAL OF $18.69

NOT $20+

SURLY THERE IS A LAW AGAINST THIS TYPE OF CHEATING THE CONSUMER.

maybe i SHOULD JUST STOP TIPPING AT THE RESTAURANT.

SURELY THEY WILL SOON HAVE NO WAIT STAFF

Reason of review: Poor customer service.

You don't have to choose the percentage. You can opt to tip an amount of your choosing. Also the credit boxes that calculate your tip percentage is not set up by Bob evans.
