Bob Evans Restaurants - A great restaurant chain in decline
My wife and I along with many of my friends have enjoyed eating at Bob Evan's restaurant in Mishawaka, IN for many years. That said, in the last year or two, we have seen a definite decline in food and service there.
I don't know for certain if it is corporate wide or not. We just ate there this morning and it was the last straw, my wife and I have crossed it off our list of places to eat.
This was not due to service, as our waitress was working hard to take care of everyone, but we didn't even get any silverware and I couldn't drink my coffee because I had nothing to stir it with. I think they were short staffed or something. The food quality has been declining for some time and today was the worst we've seen.
We are not ones to complain, so when we do, there is a good reason. My Hash browns were barely cooked, you could taste the raw potatoes, my wife's coffee cup had a big smear of dried food on the side of the cup and she couldn't even eat the greasy food she had.
So long Bob!
Reason of review: Bad quality.
Preferred solution: revisit your corp. mission statement, determine if you are living up to it and if not retrain managers and employees including cooking staff on what you consider to be of praise and building the reputation of a great place to eat and share with family.
