There was a couple came in after we got our drinks and got their food before us, another couple got up and left before their food got there. We were not asked how our food was or even a thank you. Two of us had ordered breakfast and the other a cheeseburger and fries. The couple that got served before us had breakfast. Very Pissed!!!!!!

Bob Evans Restaurants in Ellicott City, Maryland - Bob Evans Bad Experience

Update by user Jul 29, 2012

No Management has ever returned my calls. I RECOMMEND TO STAY AWAY FROM THIS BOB EVANS LOCATION!

Original review posted by user Jun 26, 2012

Bob Evans in Linthicum MD. was very BAD. I waited 15 minutes to be seated. I was the only one waiting to be seated. I waited another 20 minutes to be asked what I wanted to drink. Then I waited another 15 minutes to order my breakfast. After 30 minutes I was served my Breakfast. I ordered White toast and got wheat taost. The bacon was cold and was vey tough so that I couldn't finishe eating it. The eggs were OK but I have had better. I would NOT recommend this retaurant at this location. They need better waiters who are more attentive to thier customers and The manager seemed to be bothered by my inquiry as to why food deleivery was taking so long. I politely asked if the kitchen staff was having problems and she didn't give me any answer but walked away.

Bob Evans Restaurants in Johnstown, Pennsylvania - Crazy MANAGER

Someone needs to do something about manager in Uniontown, Pa Bob Evans, his name is Scott, he's a obnoxious, rude and a big mouth. He has no respect for his job, employees and customers. There is real problem with this gentlemen. I was at Bob Evans eating my dinner on June 16 2012 and this manager made a horrible scene. He was screaming at a employee about a doctor excuse. I will never return to Bob Evans and im sure other customers will not come back either. I think this issue should be taken seriously. He is definenot a good employee for Bob Evans.

Bob Evans area couch for the Uniontown area, Steve Kounz is also a rude, arrogant, obnoxious man who cares nothing about his employees. He probably encourages Scott to be tough on his employees. This is one of many reasons why Bob Evans is quickly becomming one of Americas worst restaurants to work for.

Bob Evans has been going downhill for quite some time. We stopped going there years ago.We have seen BE's close down on "resturant row" in MAJOR tourist traps. It's really a shame to watch a quality product of a trusted name, destroyed by greedy, incompetent middle management!

Bob Evans Restaurants in Washington, District Of Columbia - Bob evans martinsburg wv

My family and I waited 40 mins for food. All my 2 year old wanted was fries. Meanwhile, manager had enough time to introduce new members of team and hold a team meeting. All of this going on and I can see my food under the heat lamps. After the meeting the lined the countervand stood there. No one could run any of the food out. Rediculous! I will never return, but everyone needs to know what they are in for when dining here. When approaching the manager we were justold sorry. Needless to say after waiting forty minutes we left without our food and paid for our drinks.

Today my husband & I stopped at the restaurant in Waterford, Michigan to have dinner. I am vegetarian & always order the veggies & salad's. I have especially loved the "coleslaw" at Bob Evan's. But what a shock I had today when I received this order. ...

Bob Evans Restaurants in New York, New York - Bob Evans Restaurant - poor management

I have been going to eat at Bob Evans for the past 40 years. In May 20I2, Cleveland, Ohio, I went for my usual meal. I waited: for over 15-20 minutes to be acknowledged, while others around were seated, served and left, but no service for me. I asked to speak to the manager, and casually asked: "what the *** does it take for a person to be waited on here". The manager became defensive and ask that I leave, for using a curse word. In front of patrons and staff I was told to exit. I know that the word "***" was not the best word to use, but to tell me I had to leave? I was so embarrassed. I did leave but I have contacted their area management to let them know what happened. They said that they would get back to me. I don't think one undertrained, overzealous manager should treat an elder customer this way.

Asking you to learn for swearing in front of fellow customers, especially children, is wrong? And using a curse word when directly talking to someone could be seen as harrassment. I'm surprised you wouldn't know this, seeing as how you are "elderly".

Bob Evans Restaurants in Livingston, New Jersey - Employee stole my wallet

While having breakfast with my Wife and 2 grandkids i i sit my wallet on the bench beside me and my gandson. Left the Bob Evans 15 minutes later i realized i left my wallet i called them asked if someone had picked it up hostess on phone said no. I return to the establishment within 45 minutes from leaving and asked the gentleman sitting in my seat if he had found a wallet. He said the waiter reached behind him and pulled out a black bi-fold his wife confirmed this yet when i told the manager this he said his waiter didn't have it on him. There was $300 in fiftys and $2 one dollar bills. I called the prince William police who asked the waiter if he would just return the wallet he still denied it after witnesses confirmed it. This is Bob Evans restaurant at 13900 noble wood plaza Woodbridge Virginia 22193, phone 703-680-7400

I think that Bob Evan s prices have gone up so much in the past few years. I realize that things go up but I think they charge way too much for what you get. Will not be going there too often.

Bob Evans Restaurants in Washington, District Of Columbia - Bob Evans Restaurant

I am a Senior Citizen on a fixed income and as a treat decided to go to Bob Evans. I ordered off the $6.00 menu the pot pie and was told I could get a salad and bread with it. What a deception, ended up paying extra for everything and when I first got my check I was charged for the full meal, extra for the salad. I never did get any bread, should be happy probably would of paid top dollar for that too. I ended paying over $10.00 for an item that I thought would be only $6.00. Their menus are deceptive as to telling you what you can get or not get. I tried calling and talking to customer service and the rep there was double talking the whole time and trying to to confuse me

Got hold of Corporate finally, apologized, said the would fix the menu so that it is much clearer (the cashier even said that people got confused the way it read) sent me $10 in coupons (WOW!) had the manager contact me also.

They still have up on the Marque 10 meals for $6.00 which is BS as it is only the entree nothing else and you have to pay extra for bread, etc.

Unsure what being a "senior citizen" has to do with anything. However, you should have spoken to a manager.

Then called corporate.

Now, avoid Bob Evans in the future. Some restaurants are like that, I guess, especially when you get a dumb waitress.

Bob Evans Restaurants in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania - Food was disgusting!

My Husband and I decided to go to Bob Evans for dinner for a change. We have not been there for a long time. Now I know why! the food was really gross! We told our server and she just never returned t our table to see how she could help! We paid our bill which was around $40.00 and vowed never to return. I am just upset at the fact that eating out is expensive these days and when you save up to have an evening out yo expect good service and food. We will NEVER return AGAIN!!!!!
